Former WBC featherweight champion Mark Magsayo faces the unbeaten Andres Cortes on the Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn undercard, while heavyweight prospect Da'Mazion Vanhouter also returns to action under the ZUFFA Boxing banner.
Mark Magsayo is set to face the unbeaten Las Vegas native Andres 'Savage' Cortes in a 10-round lightweight showdown on the same card that sees Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn do battle inside the T-Mobile Arena on September 12.
ZUFFA Boxing has entered the second half of the year strongly, with events taking place across the United States and in Dublin, Ireland. The upcoming event in Las Vegas looks set to continue that momentum.
Magsayo vs Cortes will open the evening's proceedings, with Garcia and Benn's championship clash headlining the card, while Jai Opetaia defends his Ring and ZUFFA Boxing cruiserweight titles against two-time world champion Noel Mikaelian in the co-main event.
Entering the ring in September, Magsayo holds a 29-2 record, with 19 of those victories coming by knockout.
On top of that, he previously held the WBC featherweight title after defeating Gary Russell Jr. via majority decision in January 2022.
The Filipino has won five consecutive fights since moving up in weight, including a fifth-round stoppage victory over Feargal McCrory at ZUFFA Boxing 05 in April.
That same night, Cortes also picked up a victory, extending his unbeaten record to 25-0 with 13 knockouts after securing a unanimous decision over Dominican boxer Eridson Garcia.
The Las Vegas native now has the opportunity to secure the biggest victory of his career against a former world champion.
Da'Mazion Vanhouter vs Raphael Akpejiori
Also on the card, the unbeaten Da'Mazion Vanhouter returns to a ZUFFA Boxing ring for the third time as he prepares to face the 6ft 8in Raphael Akpejiori in an eight-round heavyweight contest on the preliminary card.
Vanhouter, 21, holds a 12-0 professional record with nine knockouts and has stopped four of his last five opponents inside the opening round since moving up to heavyweight.
The American turned professional at the age of 17 as a super welterweight in 2022 before progressing through the light heavyweight and cruiserweight divisions on his journey to heavyweight.
With a shortage of emerging American heavyweights, Vanhouter's recent performances have attracted plenty of attention.
His stoppage victory over Raphael Murphy, which came after just one minute and six seconds, turned heads and put his name firmly on the radar.
His opponent, Akpejiori, brings a 19-3 record into the contest and will make his ZUFFA Boxing debut in September after suffering a unanimous decision defeat to Mourad Aliev in Germany in his last outing.
With established names, former world champions and rising prospects all featuring on the same card, ZUFFA Boxing continues to expand its presence in the sport.
September's event in Las Vegas represents another opportunity for the promotion to continue building momentum during an increasingly busy 2026 schedule.
