Jose Ramirez will face Alexis Rocha in the standout bout of the Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn preliminary card, with five fights confirmed ahead of the September 12 event in Las Vegas.
The preliminary card for Ryan Garcia vs Conor Benn has been confirmed, with former unified world champion Jose Ramirez set to face Alexis Rocha in a welterweight showdown on September 12.
Five preliminary fights will take place before Garcia and Benn meet in the main event at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Ramirez (29-3, 18 KOs) will take on Rocha (26-2-1, 16 KOs) over ten rounds in the standout fight of the prelims.
The former unified super-lightweight world champion also represented the United States at the London 2012 Olympics before turning professional.
Rocha enters the contest unbeaten in his last four appearances and will look to claim one of the biggest victories of his career against Ramirez.
Pablo Rubio and Oswaldo Molina put unbeaten records on the line
Two undefeated fighters will meet when Pablo Rubio faces Oswaldo Molina in a six-round contest at a 132lb catchweight.
Rubio (15-0, 5 KOs) comes into the fight following a decision victory over Adan Palma at Zuffa Boxing 4, which was named Fight of the Night.
Molina (9-0, 4 KOs) also maintained his unbeaten record earlier this year when he defeated Joshua Clark over six rounds at Zuffa Boxing 3.
The remaining preliminary card will see unbeaten super-middleweight Abel Gonzalez face Raul Salomon over eight rounds.
Vlad Panin takes on Dakota Linger in a six-round super-welterweight contest, while Sean Garcia faces Abraham Morales over six rounds at lightweight.
Jai Opetaia features in world title co-main event
The four-fight main card will feature undefeated cruiserweight champion Jai Opetaia against former two-time world champion Noel Mikaelian.
Opetaia (30-0, 23 KOs) puts his unbeaten record on the line against Mikaelian (28-3, 12 KOs) in the world championship co-feature.
Former world champion Mark Magsayo will also face undefeated Las Vegas fighter Andres Cortes in a ten-round lightweight contest.
An eight-round heavyweight fight between Da'Mazion Vanhouter (12-0, 9 KOs) and Raphael Akpejiori (19-3, 18 KOs) has also been added to the main card.
The preliminary action begins at 5pm ET/2pm PT, with the four-fight main card getting underway at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
Garcia vs Benn and the entire card will be available on DAZN PPV in the UK and Ireland, while Paramount+ will carry the event in other markets
