Shakur Stevenson has signed with ZUFFA Boxing, giving Dana White one of his biggest acquisitions yet as the undefeated four-division champion eyes boxing's biggest fights.

ZUFFA Boxing has landed one of its biggest signings to date after undefeated four-division world champion Shakur Stevenson agreed to join the promotion ahead of his next fight, which is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Signing the New Jersey native represents another major move by Dana White as he continues to build ZUFFA Boxing, with Stevenson joining the promotion as one of the sport's premier talents and a proven pound-for-pound contender.

The move itself wasn't much of a surprise for many boxing fans after Eddie Hearn revealed in an interview over a month ago that the American superstar was set to sign with White's company, bringing an end to his time with Matchroom Boxing.

Despite being only 29 years old, the Newark native has remained undefeated across 25 professional bouts while collecting world titles from featherweight all the way up to junior welterweight.

His latest triumph came in January when he comprehensively outboxed Teofimo Lopez over twelve rounds to become a four-division world champion, a victory that further cemented his credentials.

Coupled with an amateur career that culminated in an Olympic silver medal at the Rio 2016 Games, Stevenson arrives at ZUFFA Boxing already hugely accomplished, but also with a big target on his back.

Following the announcement of his signing, Stevenson made it clear that his intentions under the ZUFFA banner are to pursue the biggest names and continue his rise towards the top of boxing's pound-for-pound rankings.

Stevenson Targets Boxing's Biggest Fights

“Line them up, one by one, and I’ll beat all the top guys once I get them in front of me,” Stevenson said. “With Zuffa Boxing, I’m going to go after the biggest fights in the sport, and I will become the number one pound-for-pound fighter in the world.”

Dana White was equally enthusiastic about securing Stevenson's signature.

“Shakur is one of the best pound-for-pound fighters in the world,” White said. “He’s 29 years old, undefeated and already a four-division world champion. This is a massive signing for Zuffa Boxing.”

Securing Stevenson represents another significant statement of intent from the ZUFFA brand as the promotion continues its rise within the boxing landscape.

With White continuing to attract established stars from rival promotional outfits, the addition of Stevenson raises plenty of questions about what major fights could be on the horizon.

For now, boxing fans will have to wait and see who becomes the first man tasked with handing one of the sport's biggest talents his first professional defeat under the ZUFFA Boxing banner.
