Pierce O'Leary and Mark Chamberlain will finally meet in the ring on Saturday night as the Irishman defends his IBO super lightweight world title at Dublin's 3Arena, five months after their original bout was postponed.

The pair were initially scheduled to collide in March, but Chamberlain was forced to withdraw through illness, leaving O'Leary to face late replacement Maxi Hughes instead.

The Dubliner took full advantage of the opportunity, stopping the former world title challenger in the fifth round to capture the IBO super lightweight crown.

Last time out, Chamberlain battled Jack Rafferty over 12 hard-fought rounds before the judges scored the contest a draw.

O'Leary's aggressive pressure and power will now be tested against Chamberlain's southpaw stance and proven knockout ability, setting up an intriguing clash between the two.

However, Bellotti's experience cannot be overlooked. The 35-year-old has competed at the highest domestic level, previously holding the EBU European, British and Commonwealth titles before losing them to current interim WBC super featherweight champion Ryan Garner.

A decision defeat to Josh Padley followed later that year, leaving Bellotti searching for a statement victory against one of the division's fastest-rising names.

The event will also provide a platform for two of Ireland's emerging talents, as Bobbi Flood and Adam Olaniyan look to impress on one of the biggest stages of their young careers against Tariq Davis and Jonathan Sauco respectively.

Current IBF European super lightweight champion Sean McComb will also return to action against Argentina's Miguel Cesario Antin as he continues his reign following victories over Ben Crocker and Hugo Micallef.

With a stacked undercard featuring established names, rising prospects and championship action, Saturday night promises to be another major occasion for the Irish boxing scene.
