The Ultimate Fighter 34: Coaches, Fighters, Release Date and Ones to Watch

The Ultimate Fighter 34 returns with Daniel Cormier and Michael Bisping as coaches, featuring rising bantamweight and strawweight prospects competing for UFC contracts. Here are the top fighters to watch, release details, and everything you need to know about TUF 34.

The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) returns for its 34th season as rising MMA prospects compete for the chance to earn a UFC contract.

The show will feature 10 fighters from the men’s bantamweight division and 10 fighters from the women’s strawweight division as competitors battle their way through the iconic UFC reality series.

TUF 34 Coaches

Daniel Cormier and Michael Bisping will coach opposite one another this season as they attempt to guide their teams to victory.

Both UFC legends have played major roles throughout the history of The Ultimate Fighter.

Cormier previously coached opposite Stipe Miocic on TUF 27 before becoming a two-division UFC champion in 2018.

The former UFC heavyweight and light heavyweight champion also coached on TUF 33 against fellow Good Guy / Bad Guy podcast host Chael Sonnen.

Bisping competed on The Ultimate Fighter in 2006, winning season three as a light heavyweight under coach Tito Ortiz.

The former UFC middleweight champion has also coached on the show twice, first against Dan Henderson in season nine ahead of their UFC 100 clash, and again in season 14 opposite Jason Miller.

TUF 34 Fighters to Watch

Xavier Franklin (6-1-1, 1NC) is looking for a second chance to earn a UFC contract after appearing on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2024, where he lost to current UFC bantamweight contender David Martinez.

The Texan last competed in September 2025 for Xtreme Fighting Championships (XFC), where his three-round contest ended in a majority draw.

Marlon Jones (6-0) enters TUF 34 hoping to become one of the UFC’s next breakout British stars.

The undefeated prospect has recorded five knockout victories in his professional career, with four coming under the Full Contact Contender (FCC) banner, making him one of the most dangerous strikers in the competition.

Abdul Hussein (15-2) is another exciting addition to the cast, rarely needing the judges during his fights.

The Finland-based fighter holds a 93% finish rate with five knockout victories and nine submissions. Hussein is currently riding an eight-fight win streak, with his last defeat coming against former UFC flyweight contender Muhammad Mokaev at Brace CF 49.

Valesca Machado (15-4, 1NC) receives another opportunity to reach the UFC after competing on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2021, where she lost by unanimous decision to Piera Rodriguez.

The Brazilian is best known for her run in Invicta FC, where she captured the strawweight title after winning a four-woman tournament at Invicta FC 50.

Anita Karim (6-2) is another standout name in the women’s strawweight division after previously competing four times under the ONE Championship banner.

The Pakistani mixed martial artist is currently riding a four-fight win streak, with each of her last three victories ending inside two rounds.
