Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will finally come face to face in London on Wednesday after days of uncertainty surrounding their highly anticipated heavyweight showdown.
The Ring has confirmed that Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua will attend their first official press conference in London on Wednesday, September 30, ahead of their December 11 clash at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
The announcement follows a weekend of controversy surrounding the fight, with disagreements over Dana White’s involvement in the promotion raising questions about whether the event would go ahead as planned.
Fury publicly accused Joshua and his promoter Eddie Hearn of threatening to withdraw, while White admitted he was uncertain whether the fight or its scheduled press conference would take place.
Despite the uncertainty, The Ring has now confirmed that both heavyweights will attend Wednesday’s event, giving fans their first face-to-face encounter since the fight was officially announced.
The press conference will stream live across The Ring’s social media channels from 6pm UK time, with Fury and Joshua set to begin the build-up to one of British boxing’s most anticipated encounters.
