DWCS Season 10, Week 3 Preview: Legacy and New Contenders Collide at the APEX

​Dana White's Contender Series returns to the UFC APEX in Las Vegas for Week 3 of Season 10, bringing another batch of hungry prospects aiming to earn a contract on the world's biggest MMA stage. Headlined by a marquee bantamweight matchup featuring combat sports royalty, this week's card showcases an exciting mix of undefeated prospects, regional titleholders, and heavyweight heavy-hitters.

In the main event, undefeated prospect Bella Mir (4-0) takes on Fury FC standout Alex Apodaca (3-1). Mir enters the Octagon carrying a storied combat sports legacy as the daughter of former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir. Following directly in her father's footsteps, Bella has quickly carved out her own identity as an elite submission specialist and collegiate wrestler, coming off dominant stoppage victories in the regional circuit. Facing her is Apodaca, a battle-tested competitor hailing from Fury Fighting Championship who comes into the bout on a three-fight winning streak and is known for her tough forward pressure and crisp boxing.

In the co-main event, Brazilian heavyweights collide as Mario Piazzon (12-1) meets fellow countryman Guilherme Uriel (7-2).
